WunderWilds

My kids make up creatures. We hire illustrators to paint them.

WunderWilds is the world they live in. The cards are out now in WunderSleeves. A show, some goofy short videos, a tabletop game and maybe a video game are next, all with the same creatures.

It's one cast. The Stormo on the card is the Stormo in the show and the one you play in the games.

An illustrator paints each one from what the kids came up with. Most have a little form and a grown-up form. You can collect them in WunderSleeves today.

The tabletop game

A creature battle game on a little arena board. Draw a card, play a creature, slide a Sigil under it to pick its move. Right now it's paper cards and a cardboard board.

Someday we'd like to make a WunderWilds video game with these creatures and this world. We haven't decided what kind yet.

The show

Stormo and the Ram

Stormo is a fox cub with a storm in his tail that goes off whenever he gets scared. The Ram, a grumpy old ram on the mountain, has his gang steal a golden egg from the lava cave because he thinks it will make him king of the mountain. Stormo and his friends go up after it.

We're writing the first season now. We haven't decided where it will air.

Short, silly clips for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, separate from the show. Zombato keeps scaring everyone without meaning to, Hipsqueak picks fights with frogs, and Stormo's tail goes off when he sneezes.

From a kid's imagination to your fingertips

My two boys imagine creatures and give them names. I describe each one to an illustrator, who paints it properly, and it ends up as a card you can keep on your phone in WunderSleeves, our card-collecting app.

WunderWilds is made by the same small studio as WunderGoo.
